Heather Rothert 

Heather Rothert is an Interior Designer based in North Carolina and Colorado.  Her design philosophy is firmly rooted in the conviction that a home should tell a story about the family who lives there: showcasing their passions, their travels and hobbies, even their family history.  She believes that nature is the ultimate inspiration for beauty, and a well-crafted home should celebrate the natural world.  Heather is a lover of layering textures, mixing woods and metals, using both vintage and modern pieces.   A well-designed home is simultaneously beautiful and well-lived in: it should evolve to match current lifestyle needs and interests.  Her philosophy of an imperfect and well-designed home is  put to the test daily as a Mum to four energetic and strong-willed kids.  In addition, Heather is a compulsive traveler.  Travel is an amazing way to push oneself outside your comfort zone, enrich your experiences, and eventually fine tune your tastes.  A life well-lived, full of family, friends, experiences and memories is what ultimately creates a home.
